Security Checkpoint Wait Times!

TSA is providing historical wait time information for the security checkpoints at the nation’s airports.

This tool, along with information from your airline and airport, will allow you to estimate your arrival time during a particular day and time.

A good rule of thumb for security checkpoints is to give yourself 2 hours for domestic and 3 hours for international flights.  Remember that a power outage, weapons scare, and a security breach could and HAS shutdown security checkpoints for hours causing passengers to miss their flights. Don’t forget that traveling in diverse weather conditions is a big time delay too!

Thursday through Sunday are the busiest days to travel through security checkpoints and from 10am to 3pm are high peak travel times through our nation’s airports.
